Yeah, I fell off the Goals post thing awhile ago but figured I’d try it again. This time around my goals are mainly financial and health related! Let’s get to it, shall we?
Goal 1: Cut Back Spending
I’m really going to focus on cutting back on wasting money on food. I eat lunch out way too often and it all adds up. I mean $25 a week means I’m wasting $100 a month on junk! I’ve set my goal for the month to $75. If I can make that stick then in August I might make it even lower. One thing at a time though.
Goal 2: Put Extra Money Towards The Car
I’m not trying to do anything crazy, but just an extra $100 a month. It might not sound like a lot but it really does add up. I’m pretty sure my car is around $7,500 right now and my goal is to pay it off as early as I can.
Goal 3: Walk More
Seems easy enough. Like most of the world I’ve downloaded Pokemon Go which let’s be real, is just tricking us all into exercising. I’m hoping to at least go 3 times a week as long as the weather cooperates.
Goal 4: Read A Book
I’m only six books away from reaching my GoodReads goal which is awesome! I started a new book last week but still need to finish it. A friend recommended it but it’s starting off a bit slow. I’m sure it’ll pick up soon though! I have a few Kindle Unlimited books to check out too.
And that’s it. Like I said, nothing super exciting but it’s all about having goals that you can actually reach. I think a lot of times we set ourselves up for failure when we create goals. It’s great to push yourself, but you don’t want to hurt yourself either. Now excuse me, I need to go catch ’em all.
