Before we get into new goals, let’s recap last month!
1. Eye Exam – CHECK
I had this taken care of the first week of the month! Can you believe it? I ended up going to Target since I can use my discount. Plus it’s never busy in the Optical department which meant not having to wait around too long for an appointment. I ended up saving a ton of my glasses and you can the new ones below! I picked up a new pair of sunglasses as well because I hated my old pair. HATED.
2. Increase My Amazon Money – CHECK
I managed to make $18.16 in January compared to $12.59 this time last year. It’s not a huge jump but it all adds up. It would have been higher but a few orders were for preorders (like Star Wars: The Force Awakens).
3. Have A Few Post Drafts – CHECK
I have a few drafts saved and it feels great! I’m still working on adding more though. I’m going to try and make sure for every draft I post, that I make one to replace it. It just makes sense right? One thing that helps is taking part in Fandom 5 Friday and Funko Fridays. I can have those posts ready weeks in advance. Plus book reviews really help too since they aren’t time sensitive posts.
And now onto my goals for February!
1. More Water/Less Soda
This is a goal I set pretty much all the time. At one point I was going really well with it but at work a soda is only a quarter! I know, water is free but where can you get a soda for that cheap?! Plus I’m not a coffee drinker which means I knock back a Dew in the morning. It needs to stop though, or at least not as often.
2. Go To Bed At A Reasonable Time
It’s not like I stay up to catch up on my shows. I’m up watching reruns of Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery. I really need to start getting to bed at a decent time. Hopefully this means by 11PM.
3. Hit The Gym At Least Twice A Week
I know, it’s not a lot but baby steps. Since I’m finished at Target I now have time to go after work to the gym in our building and get into a routine. It was hard finding the time when I wasn’t sure what my PT schedule was going to be week to week. I even went out and used a Kohls gift card and picked up some awesome new workout pants. I managed to get two pair for under $37 and I went to JC Penney and bought two sports bras for under $17. YES. TWO SPORTS BRAS. Needless to say, if you’re looking for some new gym wear, check those two spots out!
That’s it! I’m proud of myself for taking care of January and hoping I can do the same this month. I don’t have any blog goals besides keeping up on the drafts but that works for now. Plus I want to keep trying to increase my Amazon funds too. What are you goals for February and how did you do last month?
