Sunday at Wizard World was the day I had most of my photo ops. Which is the day I spent mainly waiting around in lines, with everything running late. Most of them I did with either Deidre or Katy, only doing the Sebastian photo on my own. Splitting a photo op with a friend is a great way to save a little money, FYI. Most conventions will allow two people in a photo. I’ve even seen some that will allow three. Just make sure to check before you purchase!
The first photo of the day was Sebastian and it started on time! The line moved super quick. Travis was my line buddy and he was hilarious while waiting. He kept going back and forth between being ready and not being ready. Soon it was our turn (he made me go first) and while I was waiting Sebastian looked over at me and thought I was next, even though where was another person in front of me. I just have that affect on people obviously. Then it was my turn and he asked how I was, I asked how he was, noticed he smelled really nice (I didn’t tell him that of course) and he did the same pose we did last time:
I love this photo. I don’t look scared. We both look awesome, and again he put his chin on my head. I guess sometimes being short has its perks. I honestly can’t remember which photos came next, so I’m just going to wing it.
This photo actually wasn’t on my schedule. Katy asked me to join her which was beyond kind of her. I had no photos with Tom planned because it was just too expensive. We picked the Charlie’s Angel pose because earlier Katy had a triple with Tom/Chris/Chris but they weren’t allowing poses. Obviously she was really upset about that and I told her we could do it this time around! I think it turned out great.
We were told no poses as soon as we entered the room which sucked because we had something really fun planned. I hate that they have them sitting down too. It just makes for an awkward photo, not to mention part of Deidre’s arm is cut off. I should have complained but I didn’t feel like dealing with it.
Another photo with Katy! The idea was that Hayley and Tucci were thinking about Skinny Steve while we’re fawning over Howard Stark. I think it turned out cute. Yes, Dominic was talking when they took the photo. I told him that I loved his glasses. That man is beautiful in person.
They tried to rush us and tell us to stand in the middle but Katy being the boss that she is said no and quickly told the guys our plan. We’ve had this posed planned out for weeks and we weren’t going to let anyone stop us. If you can’t tell, the bear is Iron Man themed (it belongs to my nephew who was kind of enough to let me borrow it, even though I bought it for him…) and obviously we’re tearing him apart. Team Cap for life. I love that Sebastian gets into the poses and there I am smiling like a fool instead of looking like I’m ripping a bear apart. I just can’t help it!
And that’s it. Oh and I do remember that the Evans/Sebs was the last photo of the day. I’m glad I was able to end the con on a little bit of a high note since the photo turned out really cute. Honestly if it wasn’t for Katy, I’d probably have zero posed photos because I would have just gone with the flow and focused on not getting yelled at by the staff. And if you’re a fan of the dress, I plan to do an entire post on it because I love it that much!
