I know it’s still January but it’s always good to look ahead and make a plan. I’ve heard about people doing “No Spend” situations before. Sometimes they do a month, a week, or just take it day by day. I’m jumping into the deep end and going right to the month. If I’m being honest, I picked next month because I know I don’t have much going on. Convention season is around the corner and it’s impossible to do a No Spend anything once that starts up. Plus I’m still trying to work out this new budget I have going on and I figure it might help with that as well.
I already know what my biggest challenge will be and that’s eating out. I really need to get better with packing a lunch and not running out to grab something. I’m just lazy AF and I have no problem admitting that. I can be a bit of an impulse shopper as well. I’m sure a few of you out there can relate to that. I’m easily distracted by shiny things that I think I need in the moment but not really. The only issue I might come across is I’m in the middle of a bedroom remodel. I still need to buy paint, trim, and probably a few other things. Granted, none of that might even happen next month and I still have some time to pick some stuff up before February gets here.
If anyone else wants to join in, please do! I know when I mentioned this on Twitter a couple of you were game. I have no idea how I’m going to blog about it. I might do a mid-month check in. I’m not 100% sure yet. I do want to blog during it though in some way to help with accountability. If you plan on blogging about it too, let me know in the comments and I’ll add your links to this post! It’s not an official link up or anything but support always helps when doing a challenge!
Now excuse me, I have to go on a shopping spree!
