I’ve been checking Lively out for awhile now. They sell bras, undies, and more recently swimwear. We all know how annoying, stressful, and expensive buying bras can be. If you’re a certain size, it’s even harder to find something that’s cute and doesn’t break the bank. That’s why it took me awhile to actually make a purchase. I saw that Megan of The Nerdy Girlie had a few of their bras and was a brand ambassador! She was sweet enough to answer a few questions I had and after thinking it over, I finally took the plunge. Before we go any farther, my size is a 32DD. It’s always frustrating to find bra’s and bralettes in that size that don’t cause me to take out a loan. At a store like Victoria’s Secret, I’m putting out $45-60 depending on the style and design. Or when it comes to their bralettes, I’m getting something that doesn’t really fit correctly and I’m stuck settling. That’s why I’m shouting from the rooftops how much I love Lively. My order consisted of The Palm Lace Busty Bralette in Tomato Red ($35) and The Mesh Trim No-Wire in Black ($35). Yes, both of these were only $35 but guess what? The more you buy the more you save! Since I bought two, each bra was only $27.50.
Ladies. I am in love with the bralette! Now, if there was a scale of Bralette to Bra, I’d say this one falls in the middle. It still gives support but has no padding, just lightly lined. Your girls will still look good but it’s still something that’s meant to be seen with summer tanks and outfits. The band is great and strong. It’s not going to snap or break trying to support you. You can tell it’s made for busty women. Now, they still don’t come in actual sizes but instead use a “1” or “2” spending on your size. I’m a 1 and it fits perfectly for me. The wireless bra is great as well! Like a lot of women out there, I have one boob that’s just a little bigger than the other and it’s always trying to escape. I mean, I can’t blame it. Being stuck in a bra pretty much all day sucks. But with this bra, everything stays in place! It’s not a demi cup, but it’s not full coverage either. I think it’s a nice middle ground. Oh and the best part on with their bras? They have front adjusting straps! Do you know how annoying it is to try and adjust a bra strap where it’s in the back? Of course you do because 90% of them are!
Here are a few photos of the bralette to show more detail.
I’m honestly ready to throw all my money at them. In fact, next time I get paid I plan on ordering a swimsuit! If you’ve been thinking of trying them out, do it! If you sign up with my link, I *think* you get $10 off. If not, even when you sign up you’ll earn 100 in “Perks” (their reward program) where you’ll earn $10 off.
Have any of you taken the Lively plunge yet? Let me know!
