Enjoy the freedom to explore over 1 million titles and thousands of audiobooks on any device for just $9.99 a month.
That’s the tagline of Kindle Unlimited. Basically, it’s a book subscription program! You pay just $9.99 a month and you can download any book that’s a part of the service for free. According to Amazon, at the moment there are 1,193,582 books that you can read as part of this service. I mean, that’s a shit load of books!
There are a few rules, like I believe you can only have 10 books out at once but as someone who only reads one book at a time, this isn’t a real issue for me. As soon as I finish a book I make sure to “return” it to Amazon and then I move onto something new. Over the weekend thanks to Snowzilla, I was able to finish three new books, all of them part of Unlimited. And guess what? They were great books! I’ve seen people say how there aren’t any “Top 10” books available but honestly, those aren’t the books I read. Not right away anyway. You know how late to the party I was on “Hunger Games?” Super late.
Here are a sample of the books you’ll find on Unlimited:
And that is just a very small sample of what you’ll find. They have books that cover ever genre pretty much, from romance to science fiction and everything in between. I think it’s safe to say that once my free trial is up, I’ll probably keep it. It’s really helped me read more and I think it’s worth the price. If I add up the three books from over the weekend, they would have cost me close to $14! That’s not something to laugh at.
Do any of you use Kindle Unlimited? Have you thought about checking it out?
I set up a book & movies page where I’ll keep track of what I’ve seen and read this year. I made super awesome graphics too. Check it out!
