It’s Funko Friday! The theme for this week was Show & Tell but I wanted to change it up, again. The only new Pops I have are Agent Carter and Deadpool and I already did posts on them. Like most Pop collectors, I have them all over the place. I have them in my room (I live at home), in the living room, at work. I bet if I looked I could find one in my car. I don’t have never ending space though, and that was obvious on my desk at work. I had them all in a nice little line but was pretty much out of room for them. I have other goodies like framed art that take up space as well. I finally decided to do something about it and started poking around the internet to see what I could find. Basically, I knew I wanted something that had levels, that’s the only way I could “add” to the space I have. I had to go vertical! The main consensus was to use a spice rack. I’m picky though and wanted to make sure I bought one with the right amount of space for them to stand on. Some of them come with stands which means I needed something where the steps had some width. After doing tons of searching, I landed on the 3-Tier Acrylic Cabinet Organizer from The Container Store. One reason I picked this one over others was this review:
This item is a great riser for displaying Funko Pops on a bookshelf!
Yes, that is a legit review that was left! I couldn’t believe it. I actually laughed a little bit over it. Glad to see other collectors are out there helping their fellow Pop Fiends out. It was only $14.99 plus if you signed up for their email you got a 15% off coupon. Plus The Container Store is part of Ebates which means I earned some cash back! Shipping was a little high but if you have a store nearby, you can do a pick up option. And honestly, I’m sure you could find something similar at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, or some other random store. Enough blabbering, onto the photo!
There you go! It does the job perfectly! It’s a little longer than I was expecting but I’m horrible with picturing stuff like that, even with measurements. I’m still playing around with placement. I already moved the Game Stop Widow down a step, in order to see the shield. I might end up using all the levels, in order to space everyone out nicely that way everyone is 100% visible.
How do you store your pops? In box? On a shelf? In a display cabinet? Everywhere? Let me know in the comments!
