While trying to find more blogs to comment on I came across Weekly Enthusiast. She has a TV related meme called Fantastic Five Friday which focuses on TV. If there’s one thing I can write about with ease, it’s TV. This weeks topic is “Five Favorite Story Arcs.” Here we go!
1. Criminal Minds: The Reaper
I loved this story arc! The ending was very climatic and it wasn’t really a “happy ending” either. I think Thomas Gibson really nailed it during the ending of this story and C. Thomas Howell really delivered in every episode featuring his character. Another thing I liked was the cookie crumbs left. The Reaper wasn’t in every episode of course but his reach was always there.
2. Psych: The Ying Yang Killer
I really enjoyed this because it showed a different side of “Psych.” While normally this show has you crying from laughter, they were able to show you a more serious side.
3. Dexter: The Trinity Killer
The season featuring Trinity will go down as the best season of Dexter, without a doubt. It was well paced and ended with a bang. John Lithgow was amazing in the role and deserved every award he won.
4. American Horror Story: Rubber Man
I think it’s safe to say the #1 issue everyone wanted to solve was who the hell was Rubber Man?! We all had our theories. We tried to judge base on the build. We tried to figure out if it was someone from the past. Was it a ghost or was it an actual person?! We had tons of questions and when we finally go our answer I think everyone gasped and then went WTF?!
5. CSI: The Miniature Killer
This was Grissom at his best! Once again, the pacing was good as was the reveal. I personally wish the ending was a little different only because I can’t stand Sarah but I loved how everything pieced together. Whenever a new little set showed up, you knew it was on.
