Seriously, all I can think about is San Diego Comic-Con. It’s not like I don’t have anything happening between now and then. There’s C2E2 in Chicago. “Iron Man 3” hits in May. Oh and let’s not forget “Jurassic Park 3D” is out in April. I actually spent time today looking up our condo on Google Earth and playing around with that! It’s in an awesome location in case you’re wondering. Plus much cheaper than any of the hotels.
I did recieve the sunglasses I ordered for my cosplay. I’m not happy with them. There’s nothing wrong with the glasses, they just don’t look good on me. I can’t really rock Aviator style sunglasses. They were the only option I could find with red lenses. That was weird too. I don’t think I could handle seeing red all day. I’m going to send them back and I found a pair of Wayfarer style glasses that have red frames. It’s important that the glasses have red in them, it ties everything together.
See what I mean? I think as long as they have some red, it’ll be fine. It doesn’t need to be perfect and I want to look awesome. The shirt is on it’s way from WeLoveFine. I found my favorite brand (Jessica Simpson) of skinny jeans (in black) on sale for just $24.99 and my dad has a quiver that I just need to add a strap too. Plus I’ll make a few mock arrows as well. I already have some bad ass boots and I’m still thinking about the wig. I’m actually in the process of growing my hair out but not sure how long it’ll be by the end of April. If push comes to shove, I’ll order a wig and attempt to keep it in good use for future wear. Man, if I’m stressing over something this simple I can’t imagine what the fulltime and full on cosplayers deal with!
Enough of my rambling, here’s an awesome cross-stitch present I received from my friend Erin!
