When did that happen? You know what that means. It’s time for a new 12 in 12 goal!
First how about a recap? I did great with January. My goal that month was to drink more water which I did. Plus I’ve stuck with it! It helps to use some Diet Snapple mix in the morning. I need a little flavor to start jump my day. I’m not a coffee drinker which means I need something. Normally I’ll have one “Lemon Tea” and then it’s water the rest of the day. Unless I get a craving for a soda, then I’ll have another water with a little extra. I didn’t do as well on my February goal. My goal is to work out everyday. Now, I didn’t really expect to do 30 minutes everyday but I did manage a day or two a week. I even went for a walk one day during my lunch break. While dog sitting I did the treadmill twice (15 minutes each time) and while at home I still hopped on the Wii Fit and did some light weights as well. It wasn’t a huge failure but it wasn’t a big ass success either.
It’s now time to move onto March though. The goal for this month is to eat more fruits and veggies! I love them but it’s just remembering to buy them and hoping what you want is in season. Plus let’s face it, they can be expensive. Lately I’ve been chowing done on kiwis and cucumbers, not at the same time of course! I can’t wait for peaches to come into season though. Man, I love peaches. I’ve seen them out now but they aren’t as ripe as they should be. I can’t wait to plan a cherry tomato plant either. I could eat those things all day long! I’m like a vampire when it comes to tomatoes. I just take a bite and suck everything out.
