Travel Wishlists for the year of adventures ahead (& perhaps even a few of your favorite 2015 travels?)
Since I’m trying to save money I don’t have a ton of trips planned this year but I do have a few! In March I’ll be heading off to Chicago again for C2E2. It’s one of my favorite conventions and I get to see a ton of friends, including a lot of Team Pulp. I even added a day before and after the convention in order to relax a bit, but I doubt I’ll have much time to see any of the city. I really need to make a trip back out there that’s not centered around a convention.
Then in May I’m going to St. Louis for a wedding! It’s my first time visiting the city and I really look forward to it! Granted, it’s another trip where I probably won’t have a ton of sight seeing time but I hope to see a few things at least. It’s kinda funny how excited I’ve been about this wedding. My friends Jamie and Moonpie are getting married and I can’t wait. It’s going to be a blast and once again Team Pulp will be taking over, including a friend from England! We actually have plans to see “Captain America: Civil War” together while everyone is in town.
Finally, the last trip that I have planned is a cruise to Bermuda in October! I’ve never been to Bermuda or been on a cruise before. I’m really excited and looking forward to it. I can’t wait to just relax and check out some amazing beaches and drink lots of fruit drinks with umbrellas in them. The best part is my city is a port city which means I don’t have to travel anywhere to catch the cruise, I can just wake up and head to the port! Plus it saves money not having to book flights or a hotel.
And that’s it for planned trips! I have a few Southwest gift cards left over from Christmas so a random trip might pop up. Who doesn’t love some surprise travel?
As far as my favorite travel from last year? Obviously that’s my trip to London! I had such an amazing time and I still can’t believe it happened. It feels like it happened years ago, not just last year. Isn’t it funny how that happens? I’m already making plans to go back because I had such a fantastic time. I think about that trip and everything I go to do and see and it still doesn’t feel real. I was able to visit Marvel filming locations. I attended the “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” press conference and UK premiere. But more importantly I got to spend almost two weeks hanging out with Katy who was the best tour guide a girl could ask for. She went above and beyond what I expected and I’m lucky to have her in my life!
