I had been toying around with the idea of buying a harness for awhile now. I’d check them out on Etsy, then move on. I’d repeat that process a few times. Then my friend Linds posted a photo of herself wearing one and I knew I had to get one. It just looked super comfortable and fun. I kept thinking, where would I wear it? But I go to enough conventions and trips that I could find plenty of times to wear one. Plus Mod Ministry Merch is super affordable at just $18 (for this harness), plus sometimes they run coupons and deals.
The harness is made of high quality elastic and they offer a nice range of colors. I stuck with black because it goes with everything, including my soul. I might add a red later on down the road though. I ordered a Small and it fits perfectly! The amount of stretch it has is pretty great too. It makes getting it on and off easy. Now, I will say it took me awhile to figure out how to get it on. It’s all one piece. That just means you need to try and lay it out and figure out what’s the front and back. I just use the ring as guidance since I know it’s at the bottom and that the two straps go around to the back. You basically just step into it and pull it up. Once you figure that out, it’s pretty simple. It’s not complicated by any means! But I’m the same person who’s been known to be confused by tops and dresses and put them on backwards by accident the first time.
If you’re someone who’s been thinking about picking one up yourself, but you weren’t sure, I highly recommend it and this shop! I already plan on taking it on the cruise and I wore it to Baltimore Comic-Con as well. It’s a really fun way to spice up an outfit.
