I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! It’s my favorite Holiday! The weekend before I went out with a girlfriend which is always a great time. I ran into some other friends as well! I will say, I was a little disappointed in the costumes I saw. Normally when you go Downtown you’ll see some really awesome and put together costumes. Maybe they were all out on actual Halloween and not the weekend before. I did see a lot of “Duck Dynasty” costumes and of course a fair amount of Superheroes as well.
Then on Halloween I went Trick or Treating with the nephew. He really nailed it this year! He went right up the door, did his thing, and more importantly remembered to say Thank You! At one point he was even humming a little song. I have no idea what he was humming but I guess he was having a good time! He liked seeing the other kids in costumes as well. We saw a little Buzz Lightyear and he started yelling Buzz. It was as adorable as it sounds. As it got darker he got a little less brave but hey, he’s a kid. He’ll be three later this month. I think he did wonderful for his age! Of course when a kid told him that he’d give him three pieces of candy and didn’t count them out, Aiden had to go back and get another piece. So let this be a lesson, if you’re telling a kid you’re giving them X amount of candy, be sure to count it out for them! They might just come storming back asking for more!
Then if you missed it, Marvel released the trailer for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” The amount of excitement I have for this movie can’t be put into words. I’ve tried but it just comes out as a bunch of weird animal like sounds.
Is it April yet? But you don’t have to wait that long for your Marvel fix! “Thor: The Dark World” is out this week and I can’t wait! I bought my tickets last month and I’ll be seeing it Thursday at 8PM. I’m thankful for early non-Midnight showings because I’m too old for that. The last time I went to a midnight movie I almost fell asleep. Not sure if that speaks more about the movie or myself.
What did you do for Halloween? Anyone else seeing “Thor: The Dark World” this week?
