Lately, my Funko Pop related posts have seen a lot of random traffic. The top post seems to be the post about ways to display your Pops. A few of those links seem to be dead now, and I figure why not update and offer a few more solutions and options! Personally, I’ve slowed down my Funko Pop collecting but I know plenty of you are still deep in the game.
Lighted Display Case by Legend Studio: $69.99
This is at the higher end of the budget but if your someone who collects the larger and oversized Pops, this might be a great piece to pick up. It features 8 LED lights and uses batteries or a USB cord! It’s something you’d normally see used for Hot Toys or similar items but there’s no reason why you couldn’t throw a Hulkbuster or Tyrannosaurus Rex into one of these beauties.
If you poke around Amazon, you’ll come across Display Geek. They offer various shelving units that include backdrops to match your collection. A few examples include Harry Potter, Stranger Things, and Star Wars. They seem to average around $37 and the description says they can hold 20 Pops. They’re made to be mounted onto a wall and are made from Recycled Black Corrugated Cardboard.
Funko Pop Out Of Box Protector: $21.75 for 20
If you’re someone like me who actually removes your Pops from the box, you might want to snag some of these. It’ll help keep your collection safe and help cut back on dusting! You can find various types and styles out there which means you shouldn’t have any issues finding something that works for you and your budget. I mean, 20 for about $22 seems like a steal to me.
Clear Acrylic 3 Tier Half Moon Shelf : $24.99
I know I mentioned in the previous post using spice racks to display your Pops on desks and tabletops! Well here’s another option! It’s a little “fancier” than a typical spice rack and I like how it has a curve to it. I think it would work really well for displaying a collection. if it’s good enough for cupcakes, I think it’s good enough for a Funko Pop!
Detolf by Ikea: $59.99
If you’re deep in the game and you just need something larger and maybe a little nicer for your collection, here you go. I use a Detolf for displaying my Hot Toys but it can pretty much be used for any collectibles as long as they aren’t too heavy. It’s easy to add things like lights and customization. It’s pretty easy to put together as well! If this doesn’t tickle your fancy, Ikea offers plenty of display case options.
If plastic isn’t your thing, maybe you’ll like these leatherette risers! I think they’re pretty cool looking. It’s a little different and might look really nice on a desk at work instead of something plastic or acrylic. Plus I like that they have a fun shape and different levels. You could easily mix in your regular Pops with your Aborbz if you collect those as well. I honestly might grab one for myself!
Just like last time, this is just a small example of what you can use to show off your collection. You could easily find some of these options like your typical risers at Bed Bath Beyond, Target, or any other home goods type store. I’m actually surprised Funko hasn’t started selling some sort of display cases themselves. I feel like they’re leaving money on the table by not offering something. What do you use to display your collection?
