I actually surprised myself and did a fantastic job keeping up with my planner! I think it really helped to use stickers. I didn’t go too crazy with packs. I stuck with a few that I knew I would use. Those include Finance, Travel, and Fitness. I think that’s the key for not spending all your money on stickers and fun extras. Just think about what you really do and go from there. It’s easy to get sucked in when you see cute and shiny things. I did buy one random pack of Unicorn stickers because well, unicorns.
Pretty, right? I basically mark every workout I do, whenever I get gas, and of course normal calendar related stuff. I had a payment for Baby Groot this month, got a haircut, traveled to Chicago, and some other fun stuff. The 2nd photo is my breakdown of my bills and each color is a different payment. I love that the pack I bought probably has enough of each color that I can keep it pretty uniform the rest of the year. I do want to start making more use of that space in the planner. One thing at a time!
If anyone is wondering where I bought my stickers, I got them all from Michaels! And of course I used coupons. Always use coupons! How did everyone else do with their planners last month? Everyone sticking to it? And don’t forget that February is “No Spend!” Which I feel like I’m going to screw up as soon as I can.
