Ah, it’s a new year. I honestly can’t believe 2017 is already over. Then again, the year seemed to feel never ending at the same time. Isn’t time weird? I mean, it’s a set thing. It doesn’t change but one day can fly by, the next day can feel like a week. Enough rambling, it’s now time for those lovely New Years Resolutions! I’m really only making one or two this year. The main goal is what the title says, Financial Health. My credit cards got a bit out of control but it’s time to get them in order. I sat down with my Mom and we went over my bills and came up with a plan to get things paid off and paid down. I was actually nervous about saying anything because I’ve been in this spot before. Granted, it was much worse back then. I know we all have different relationships with family, but if you think you can talk to someone, reach out! They’ve probably been there. If there’s one thing 99% of us have been through or dealt with, it’s money issues. There’s no reason to go through it alone. I am nervous about the plan because it changes the way I pay my bills but in the end it’ll be worth it. Of course this means no more spontaneous trips but I am able to keep anything I already have planned. That means the conventions on my schedule are still on my schedule.
I’m throwing one random/fun resolution/goal out there as well. I want to really focus on taking more pole classes at Xpose Fitness this year and hopefully get up to a Pole 2/3 level. I’ll have to check the schedule and see what will work but it’s something I really want to work on! I already plan on taking more floor/chair classes as well. They finally added a few during the week that I can actually make! I was pretty excited when the new schedule dropped. Hopefully enough people will attend them that they’ll stick around the rest of the year.
Any of you make any new goals for the new year? If you have, good luck!
