When cosplaying your wig can really make or break your costume. Sometimes it feels like the hardest part of putting together a cosplay. You need the right style, the right color, something that doesn’t break bank, and the list goes on and on! When I was trying to find a wig for Scarlet Witch, I checked the typical wig websites, and even Ebay, but nothing jumped out at me. If it did, it was too much money. I found one that I really liked but it was $70! That’s when I remembered Deidre had mentioned a different wig website before, Wig Is Fashion.
Wig is Fashion offers a wide range of wigs. They have everything from natural to fun and colorful. I was searching for a simple, brown wig that featured no bangs and a little bit of wave. That’s when I came across this wig for just $24! I couldn’t believe the price, and it had everything I needed for Wanda. I went ahead and placed my order. I was still a little nervous though because wigs can always be hit or miss. They can be too thin, they can end up being completely different from the photo, the color can be off. Once I hit “order” though all I could do was sit and wait.
When the wig arrived it was in a small but sturdy box. Inside the box I found the wig in a plastic ziplock bag, with the wig itself wrapped in a hair net. Basically the typical way you receive a wig. The shipping was pretty quick for coming from overseas. I ordered it on the 22nd of May and had it around June 5th. I believe they offer quicker shipping options if you’re short on time! As far as the quality of the wig, I was really impressed! The wig is very thick without being too heavy and fit really well. It was a little wavier than I expected but that really wasn’t an issue. It really is a high quality wig and I would order from Wig Is Fashion again!
