I honestly can’t believe it’s just 13 days away. How did that happen? Where did February go? I’ve never done a road trip before which means I’m really excited and really nervous too! I mean, 10 hours is a long ass drive. It is forcing me though to finally get an oil change done to my car and clean it out some. I’ve been long overdue for service and this was just the kick in ass I needed.
I do wish we (my partner in crime Diedre) were staying in Chicago a little longer than the weekend. Yes, I’m driving 10 hours (20 really) just for a weekend, but Stephen Amell is worth it. I really hope I don’t do or say anything stupid. I’ve met celebrities before (#humblebrag) but for some reason this feels different. Maybe it’s because I know what hides under his shirt, super amazing abs. I just picture my turn at the photo op station and I just start giggling like a moron. You don’t normally get a lot of time during these things which is probably a good thing. Or it could go horribly wrong if I start to ramble. I will be wearing this though which could help break the ice:
Felicity is my girl, and it turns out she’ll be at the event too. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do a photo with her or not. I think it’s only $40 but I do wish they offered a Olicity option. I mean, they’d bring in the cash with that!
Along with all this Arrow related foolishness, we plan to eat a ton of Chicago style pizza and hopefully find some time to show Deidre around Chicago. She’s never been and we don’t want this visit to be JUST about our fangirl needs. Plus on the way out there we plan to top and eat all the things as well. What? Your trips don’t center around food? Then you’re doing it wrong.
Oh and here, have some salmon ladders!
