I haven’t blogged yet this month, how weird! There’s not too much going on. I did pay off three credit cards which screwed with my normal finances a little bit but I get paid tomorrow and should be back on track. It’s funny how doing something smart with money can throw you off course! Now that I have my smaller cards out of the way I can focus on the two main cards that I have. Here’s hoping it doesn’t take too long to pay them off.
Saturday I went for a jog/walk outside! I even managed to do a mile! My sister lives across from a park that has a path around a quarry. It has a few little hills and what not. It’s a nice place for a beginner like me. Since it was nice out plenty of other people were walking their dogs and feeding the ducks! I can’t believe how sore I was the following day though! I was actually surprised since I’ve been doing to the gym. I know it’s different though, with the hills and what not.
See, nice little area to go for a run! According to Endomondo, it took 14:30 to complete a mile. I have no idea if that’s good or not. Someone on MFP asked about my form. I have no form, unless you count flailing. I kid. I’m sure I don’t have good form but I know the basics. Hopefully the weather will become more stable and I can run outside on a regular basis.
What else is going? I head off to Chicago at the end of the month to visit the Bestie and attend C2E2. I’m really looking forward to that! I even finished up my arrows last night for my costume. That was a learning experience. Everything went fine until I used hot glue to attach the quills to the arrows. You could totally see the glue and by the next day, everything had fallen off. Luckily I found archery glue online and WOW, what a difference! You can barely see the glue and those suckers are on there! Now I’m even more excited about my cosplay! Speaking of cosplay, I’ve decided to bring Black Widow to San Diego Comic-Con. I wasn’t sure at first. There bodysuit itself is fine (my Halloween costume) but all the accessories were on the cheap side. Luckily I found this video that shows you how to make your own costume plus, and this is the best part, includes links on where to buy everything! It was like a godsend, seriously. I can’t wait to pull everything together.
Of course Easter just happened as well. We all headed up to my grandparents house were we had crabs. They were pretty good too! The weather was crappy which meant hiding eggs in the house for Aiden instead of outside. We did take him out for a few minutes though to pet the goats that live next door. He kept trying to give them kisses which was pretty cute and adorable.
That’s it really, nothing too exciting going on. I did want to remind everyone that if you shop on Amazon please consider using my associate link. I earn a small percentage from every sale. The more purchases made, the higher the percentage. You can even favorite place the link and use it whenever you shop! I’ve been using the money lately to pay off my bills. It hasn’t been much but it all adds up!
