It’s once again time for Fantastic Five Friday and this one focuses on our top five movies of 2012. It shouldn’t surprise you what my number one is!
I honestly saw this movie in theaters about 10 times. I was even lucky enough to see it before everyone else in the US when I attended a screening in April. It’s probably now one of my favorite movies of all time. Well, until the next Avengers movie comes out.
2. Magic Mike
This was an actual good movie! It wasn’t just dudes shaking their asses and taking off clothes. There was a legit story and plot and it was a good one. Plus seeing the theater filled with that many crazy ass women was hysterical.
I just saw this one a few weeks ago, I never made it out to see it, but it was hysterical! I really wondered how a movie with a talking bear would work and well, it did! I actually had emotions for that raunchy little guy. I can’t wait til the second movie comes out!
I love scary movies. What I really love are scary movies that mess with your head and don’t just throw blood all over the place. I appreciate a good slasher film but for a while there, it seemed like every movie that came out was just another version of “Saw” or “Hostile.” Luckily this was a smart and well acted horror movie that once again probably made you scared of kids.
5. The Bourne Legacy
Jeremy Renner. That about sums it. I actually say this movie at midnight and kinda wish I had waited. I was too tired to follow what was going on but I still enjoyed the movie. I love Jeremy and I’m glad to see him getting more leading roles. The ending pissed me off but I know there will be other Legacy movies starring him and they had to set that up.
It was a pretty good year for movies last year and I can’t wait to see what 2013 holds. What were some of your favorite movies?
I didn’t even realize that “Drive” come out in 2012 as well. That’s on my list of favorite movies for sure!
